Primary objective for the role is to prepare the development of the BIM implementation plan and work flows for new projects, manage the BIM scope interfaces among trade contractors and equipment vendors.
Accountabilities: Manage the production of site plans, models, animations and renderings. development of the BIM workflows by trade contractors and equipment suppliers and schedules ensuring any clash detection are resolved before construction. Relevant tertiary qualifications or with equivalent knowledge. Proficient in AutoCAD/Autodesk Revit drafting experience including fundamentals of 2D drafting, xrefs, plotting, and file setup. Familiarity with AutoCAD MEP including 3D modelling of MEP parametric objects desirable. Competencies include; Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking, Technology and Process, Verbal Communication, Written Communication. Experience in managing multi contractors’ collaboration of Model development during pre-construction stage.
Knowledge, Skill & Experiences required: Familiar with Client Assest Information
management requirement, manage contractors in delivery of what is required. Coordinate with Client’s team and Client BIM managers. Reporting of BIM progress, revolve key issues. Manage the as built of the BIM modelling and
handover to client. Familiar with key trending software or platforms, such as Autodesk Revit, ACC etc.
Position scope: Role requires the application of professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialised training or considerable “on the job” experience. Exercises independent judgement within defined parameters. Identify solutions to issues that are generally defined (but
not always immediately evident) and require problem-solving.
