The competency team in Learning & Development National is responsible for developing and delivering the leadership development and shared competencies curriculum and talent development. The successful candidate will be a passionate, well-organized, hands-on talent who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will create, drive and lead several multi-phase projects at once, deliver sustainable and impactful development experiences, and drive continuous improvement of the talent programs in the firm. This position requires a utility player with a strategic approach and drive toward execution.
The manager supports the competency-in-charge and works with a small team, he/she is expected to:
? Acts as an engaging business advisor, facilitator to deliver high quality programs and development experiences to allow talent to do their best work, develop their leadership skills and become successful in career
? Utilize data, analytics and talent-related technology and systems to develop insights to support, design and identify leadership development priorities
? Identify the appropriate instructional design strategy for projects incorporating innovative ideas and approaches
? Implement the proposed instructional design strategy through the design and content development
? Demonstrate strong experience in a range of learning delivery methods and blended learning approaches including facilitator-led workshops, eLearning, webinars, interactive tools / games and coaching / mentoring sessions
? Carry out learning needs analysis to identify content for partner, manager and staff curriculum
? Design framework and develop architecture for learning programs
? Manage vendor relationships including identification of appropriate vendors (including learning consultants, international and Chinese universities, executive coaches, etc.) and work with vendors to develop Deloitte China specific learning content
? Develop and/or review learning materials, monitor the design, development and deployment process, and design delivery strategies
? Deliver learning programs in bilingual language (English and Mandarin)
? Design measurement mechanism to evaluate effectiveness and measure success of learning
? Determine milestones, timelines and resources required for reasonable learning programs
? Prepare effective communication plan to build awareness, create learner excitement, and increase level of commitment
? Manage his/her time across multiple projects to ensure teams are adequately supported
? Manage and track progress of program deliverables, drive and support the program teams to achieve milestones and deliver outputs on time
? Maintain learning schedule and events calendar and take the lead on program event logistics with duties including agenda scheduling, organizing catering, material and supply orders
? Provide pre-program operation support including coordinating program materials, facilitators and guest speakers, logistics, evaluation, action plans etc.
? Implement and manage program management changes where needed to meet the business needs and expectations
Education and Experience:
? Bachelor degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, training and development or related field
? Strong knowledge and experience of the end-to-end learning process, i.e. organizational development, program design and delivery, needs analysis and learning metrics and assessment in a global environment
? Proven ability to interpret business needs and translate these into a coherent program of work
? Strong industry awareness and understanding of the leadership and behavioural development needs of the organization
? Understanding of different talent groups' needs, expectations, career goals, skill gaps and able to build tailor-made development plans to facilitate their career path in the firm
? More than 8 years of experience in designing and implementing instructional design strategies and learning models and content development, delivering learning programs, preferably in sizable professional services firms or MNCs
? Passionate in learning and development
? Good facilitation skills and have facilitation experience
? Creative and open-minded, open to try new things
? Willing to travel
? Good PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills, preferably with digital tool skills
? Excellent communication skills, both writing (English and Chinese) and verbal (English and Mandarin)
? Confident to interact with partners and senior leaders
? Have good people skills to build trusted relationship with stakeholders across functions and regions.
? Good team player, comfortable to work with virtual teams and willing to participate in conference calls outside of normal working hours
? A self-starter, multi-tasker and able to work independently
? Strong project management skills, organized and have good attention to details
? Experience in program / project management including but not limit to setting program timelines, timeline, budget, resource allocation etc.
? Good research skills and be able to transfer the research knowledge to project
