This exciting role offers opportunity to:
- Lead PQ China Procurement team for continuous process improvement and team capability built up;
- Align with Sourcing, QA/QC for vendor development to meet PQ business requirements
- Manage Buy-Sell products demand and analysis, planning and check vendor supply status for demand FCST, production and delivery etc.
- Manage PO to payment process, arrange delivery per site schedule and sales instruction (sales target/customer credit status). Do coordination if any receipt issue at customer site or at warehouse
- PQ China projects order management :Work with PLM/PMO/Sales to confirm product spec, qty, special T&C from customers, and reflect these special terms in PO to vendors; if ETO or non-standard products, work with sourcing/category managers to confirm vendor quotation– Incoterm, payment term, MOQ, LT etc., if new vendors, check vendor code /MPA status
- Manage customer assigned vendors for new vendor setup, sign b2b contract and place PO and follow up delivery aligned with UPS/other products etc.
- New PN master data maintenance in SAP (PIR/source list, material master data)
- Support PQ China NPI projects and 2nd source development (focus on demand planning/ logistic and order execution related )
- Various reporting (Xmatrix, OTD, cost out, battery forecast accuracy, key products SIOP data prepration)
- Vendor payment and DPO management
- Compliance, integrate and do business right "
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree or above
- 6+ years of proven experience in SCM (planning, purchasing, logistics) and 2 -3 years management experience. Working experience in UPS solution project is preferred.
- Commodity Management: Possess knowledge of total commodity management processes inclusive of vendor selection, material purchase, performance metrics and continuous process improvement.
- Contract management: Possessing knowledge of supply chain contracts and agreements inclusive of terms, timings and language
- Materials Planning and Management: Knows and understands forecasting, demand planning, scheduling and inventory management tools and concepts necessary to improve SIOP process for buy and sell products
- Proven ability to drive results in a matrix organization
- Good interpersonal communication skills with leadership potential; proficient in office tools eg PPT & excel; good oral and written English; knowledge of SAP and power BI preferred
