Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic product management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle of instruments and reagents dedicated to plasmid DNA extraction,purification, and related applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, ensure market competitiveness, and ultimately support customers in advancing scientific research and therapeutic applications.

Key
Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:

ü Develop and implement a comprehensive product
strategy for plasmid purification systems and related reagents.

ü Define product roadmaps based on market analysis,
customer needs, competitive intelligence, and company goals.

ü Work closely with R&D to ensure that new
features, instruments, and reagents meet customer requirements and maintain
high standards of quality and reliability.

2. Product Launch and Marketing Support:

ü Lead successful product launches by collaborating
with marketing and sales teams to ensure proper positioning, messaging, and
promotional activities.

ü Create and deliver product sales toolkit, and
training sessions to educate customers and internal teams on new products and
features.

ü Develop clear and compelling product positioning
and competitive differentiation to support sales efforts and drive adoption.

3. Market Insights and Technical Expertise:

ü Gather and analyze customer feedback, market
trends, and competitive products to identify opportunities for product
improvements and innovation.

ü Leverage market research and customer insights to
develop a deep understanding of key application areas.

ü Stay current on the latest developments in
molecular biology techniques, particularly those related to plasmid-based
cloning, gene therapy, and plasmid-based expression systems, etc.

4. Reagent and Consumable Management:

ü Manage the development and lifecycle of consumable
reagents for plasmid extraction and purification systems, ensuring that they
meet high-performance standards and integrate seamlessly with the
instrumentation.

ü Work closely with suppliers to secure high-quality
reagents and consumables and ensure consistency and cost-efficiency.

ü Monitor reagent performance in the market and
collaborate with customers to address any quality issues or opportunities for
optimization.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

ü Partner with R&D team to define product
specifications, manage technical aspects of product development, and ensure alignment with customer needs.

ü Work with sales and marketing teams to develop
go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, training materials, and sales tools.

ü Coordinate with quality and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: Master or Doctor’s degree in Life Sciences
(e.g., Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry), or a related field. An
MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

ü Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product or a
related role within the life sciences, biotechnology, or molecular biology
sector.

ü Solid understanding of plasmid DNA purification
techniques and associated reagents (e.g., plasmid prep kits, buffers).

ü Experience in managing both instrument-based
products (e.g., automated plasmid purification systems) and consumable reagents
is highly desirable.

ü Experience with laboratory workflows involving gene
cloning, molecular cloning, or gene expression systems is beneficial.

Skills:

ü Excellent communication and presentation skills,
with the ability to convey complex technical information to both internal and
external stakeholders.

ü Ability to analyze market trends and customer
feedback to inform product decisions and drive product enhancements.

Preferred
Qualifications:

ü Hands-on experience with plasmid purification and
related laboratory techniques.

ü Experience working with laboratory automation and
integrating systems for high-throughput purification.

ü Familiarity with the latest trends in gene editing,
gene therapy, or synthetic biology applications, etc. that rely on plasmid DNA.
