In order to sustain its leadership position in this fast-moving market, John Cockerill requires its Hydrogen management teams to be constantly up to date on recent market developments (e.g., new government policies, competitor moves).
To reinforce our H2 technical team, John Cockerill Hydrogen is looking for a Process Engineer for its Hydrogen activity. The Process Engineer is part of the technical mobility department (10 people). The position is based in Seraing.
Mission & Scope
The Process Engineer designs and implements new processes, with the aim of continuously optimising and integrating new solutions. He/she is involved in the design of products, proposal and execution phases, until the commissioning phase.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the process engineer are the following:
?Design process installation: Cooling system, piping sizing, Heat & Mass Balance, equipment selection, etc.
?Responsible of issuing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
?Conducts risk analysis, HAZOP and ATEX study.
?Responsible of drafting the main process deliverables such as Operating Philosophy, Functional description, Cause & Effect matrix, Commissioning procedures, etc.
?Collaborate with surcontractons and Customer
?Assesses compliance with applicable design, safety and quality standards.
?Support the project team during commissioning of the Hydrogen Refueling Station
Profile
?You have an engineering master (civil or industrial),
?You have minimum 5 years’ experience in process design and engineering in an industrial environment.
?Experience is Hydrogen Refuelling Station or Hydrogen in general is a plus,
?Knowledge of thermodynamics is a must,
?Knowledge of Hydrogen storage and compression is an asset,
?Acquaintance with piping (ASME B36.10), flanges (ASME B16.5), valves (ASME B16.34), tubing, instrumentation, PLC is a strong asset.
?You have a strong and autonomous personality, an entrepreneurial mindset and a will to win,
?You are able to prioritize and have an excellent sense of organization,
?You are fluent in English, and French,
?You are proficient in MS office.
