This role participates in all aspects of design, installation,
troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced equipment solutions within
manufacturing and operations. Skills in
complex equipment operation, automated cell layouts, and tooling design are
essential for success in this role.
Additionally, collaboration with stakeholders throughout the enterprise

Role definition:
1.
Participate as a member of the
global automation team in the development of new manufacturing equipment and

2.
Participate in conceptualization,

review, to consolidate that the results are facilitating assembly and

Understand the part
manufacturing processes, as needed, specifically regarding precise part

Perform installation,
maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotics, vision, and control systems to

Participate in
conceptualization and mechanical design using 3D CAD modelling software as it

Propose hardware selection as
it pertains to automated system function, including sensors, encoders,

Design, prototype, and
fabricate fixtures, tooling, robot cell layouts, and individual components to

Record keeping and
documentation related to risk assessment, machine operation, maintenance, and

13. Assist with electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout

Experience:
1.
3+ years of experience with
processes like high-speed assembly, precise assembly, welding, soldering,

3+ years of mechanical design
experience with demonstrated ability to execute project deliverables that meet

3+ years of experience with, or

Travel:
Domestic/Oversea Travel to supplier sites or global GN sites upon
