Responsibilities:
? Be a team member of Project Management & Services Department.
? Manage a medium-sized test team which may be multi-site.
? Define and implement the overall test approach.
? Apply different estimating methods to estimate timescales, effort and costs for the testing phases.
? Assist to produce the overall test delivery plan and defining the business test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities whilst determining whether automation tools can be utilized.
? Manage a large testing capability, resources and testing process from project initiation to post implementation review and extended wellness.
? Identify slippage and develop strategies to recover and will own and resolve issues around the technical solution delivered into the business test environment.
? Ensure that all test phases have appropriate entry / exit criteria and for monitoring achievement of these criteria and for obtaining sign-off against these prior to Go Live.
? Implement a well-structured approach to test defect management and incident reporting.
? Monitor and report the status and progress of each test phase to different stakeholders and to agreed Bank’s standards.
Requirements:
? University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in test planning and strategies, system implementation or IT project management, preferably in the banking industry or banking related consultancy.
? Good knowledge of banking operations on core products and services.
? Test status reporting at both the detailed and executive level.
? Solid experiences in having designed and implemented test frameworks on large scale programmes and enhancing existing test processes.
? A strong understanding of test management processes, design techniques, and best practice.
? Experienced in managing multi-sited teams is preferred.
? Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably can speak and understand Cantonese.
