Responsibilities:
? Steering the realization of in-plant logistics flow to support long term production strategy in plant. Developing and optimization of required
logistics concept in line with production requirement (timing / cost) and often
changing assumptions.
? Steering of structural, financial and manpower requirements to meet
defined processes.
? Management of vendor, contract and supplier evaluation and selection.
? Project involvement, business alignment and process measure implementation.
? Project timing and resource allocation. Steering of the project team
and sub project leaders.
? Steering of definition for support processes (IT, quality, logistics
etc.) to ensure alignment of the overall production concept.
? Create proposals and ensure the approval of necessary funding in the
management meetings and circles. Ensure that budget and investment targets are met.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree in logistics engineering or relevant above.
? Have 5 years above working experience in manufacturing industry.
? Deep understanding lean logistics with good lean knowledge.
? Fluent English in conversation and writing.
? Familiarity with logistics flow engineering and vehicle plant
manufacturing processes.
? Strategic planning and budget management.
? Adoption and use of planning and evaluation procedures.
? Highly developed communication skills.
? Team and individual development, management and leadership.
? Previous experience of leading a team and technical projects.
? Awareness of health, safety and environmental issues relevant to the
area of responsibility.
