Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee human resources practices and processes, particularly faculty recruitment, academic assessment, faculty orientation, staff onboarding and departure;
2. Collaborate with the School Dean and divisions to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with institutional goals;
3. Serve as a resource for personnel policies, procedures, benefits, laws and regulations;
4. Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, professional organizations, and related departments within the University.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred;
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in an academic setting;
3. Strong understanding of academic hiring practices and the higher education landscape;
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
5. Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
