We are looking for energetic, passionate, and committed artists and designers to join the team at Oogie Art’s Shanghai location as portfolio instructor.

2. Schedule: five days per week, 40 total work hours per week

Job Description:

As an Art Portfolio Instructor, you are at the heart of Oogie Art’s mission to give each student the individualized guidance to realize their creative vision. You will be overseeing the studio during class hours, and assisting students in completing their artworks and brainstorming with them to develop ideas for new projects. Working directly with students, their parents, the director, and other instructors, you will help develop an individualized curriculum for each student based on their skills, ideas, goals, and time horizon. Instruction will be in English.

Art Portfolio Instructor Responsibilities:

- Teach students in a variety of media (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, basic design software, etc.)

- Schedule classes and track attendance and students’ progress.

- Light administrative work (posting attendance and serve as liaison between students and the director.)

- Helping team with marketing when needed (school and education fairs and other events)

Art Portfolio Instructor Qualifications:

- B.A. or B.F.A in Fine Art, Studio Art from schools in US and UK;

MFA strongly preferred

- Professional, practicing artist (portfolio required) and/or art teacher

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills essential, can use English as working language

- Prior teaching experience with kids 7-12 graders a plus

- Love education, work rigorously, patiently, carefully, and have sense of responsibility;

- Hardworking, good at cooperation and communication;

- Knowledge of art college admissions, application requirements, and

notable art competitions a plus

- Knowledge of art history and contemporary artists, galleries, museums, etc.

1.擅長(zhǎng)用各種媒體，包括繪畫(huà)，素描，雕塑，混合媒體，基本設(shè)計(jì)軟件等教授學(xué)生；

2.根據(jù)國(guó)外院校及藝術(shù)教育課程體系的要求，制定教學(xué)計(jì)劃和教學(xué)方案；

3.安排課程并跟蹤出勤情況和學(xué)生的進(jìn)度；

4.輕度的行政工作：出勤并負(fù)責(zé)學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)、主管間的教學(xué)溝通；

5.指導(dǎo)學(xué)生完成作品集，學(xué)生的靈感方向分析以及作品集制作方法技巧等；

6.協(xié)助建立、管理教學(xué)師資團(tuán)隊(duì)并把控教學(xué)，梳理和優(yōu)化教學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu)；

7.協(xié)助參加團(tuán)隊(duì)的學(xué)術(shù)及市場(chǎng)活動(dòng)，如學(xué)校展和教育展以及其他活動(dòng)。

任職資格：

1.畢業(yè)于美國(guó)，英國(guó)的純藝、美術(shù)學(xué)等藝術(shù)專業(yè)；國(guó)外本科及以上學(xué)歷；

2.純藝、插畫(huà)、油畫(huà)、動(dòng)畫(huà)、平面、產(chǎn)品、交互、服裝設(shè)計(jì)等專業(yè)；

3.具備出色的書(shū)面，口頭和人際溝通能力，英語(yǔ)可作為工作語(yǔ)言；

4.有過(guò)7-12年級(jí)學(xué)生教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先;

5.熱愛(ài)教育事業(yè)，工作嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、耐心、細(xì)心、有責(zé)任心；
6.邏輯清晰，做事勤奮，具備團(tuán)隊(duì)精神，善于合作與溝通；

7.對(duì)于美術(shù)學(xué)院入學(xué)，申請(qǐng)要求，以及著名的藝術(shù)比賽有了解者優(yōu)先;

8.了解藝術(shù)史和當(dāng)代藝術(shù)家，美術(shù)館，博物館等。

薪資福利：

繳納五險(xiǎn)一金及節(jié)假日福利，薪資根據(jù)個(gè)人工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)及能力定。

工作時(shí)間：周末工作，休工作日，做五休二。
