JOB SUMMARY
? Manages projects or phases or projects covering part or all of the full development lifecycle (i.e., from feasibility through to system implementation), which may include post-implementation support or other specialist functions (e.g., Release Management, Testing).
? Directly accountable for project resources and for identifying project stakeholders at an early stage and manages them effectively through appropriate matrix management; plans, organizes and controls projects in order to deliver required quality business solutions within agreed timescales and budget; defines the scope of the project, manages project objectives, risks, issues and resources.
? Ensures project deliverables are capable of achieving the benefits defined in the project proposal or EAP; typically manages projects which may have a number of directly controlled multi-disciplinary teams, which may be in multiple locations.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
? Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
? At least 10+ years working experience in IT industry with recent 3-year project manager experience.
? Good knowledge of IT project management (i.e. PMP concept). PMP certified.
? Strong hand-on experience in managing project budget, scope, schedule, risk, stakeholders, resources etc.
? Proficient in project management tool e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira
? Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Strong sense of ownership and accountability
? Organisation skills, time management
? Strong problem-solving competency
? Proficiency in Cantonese is a plus
