Main
tasks/ areas of responsibility:
- You manage a team of 1st and 2nd tier distributors in
South China
- You expand the sales organization by finding and
enabling new distributors
- You coordinate all sales activities of the different distributors
in your sales area
- You communicate and mediate between distributors
- You define sales targets and are responsible for
reaching them at the end of the year
- You support your distributors in finding new projects
and sales possibilities
- You discover additional sales channels like turnkey
projects, hospital chains, universities
- You train your distributors and enable them to sell our
products
- You monitor and control the stock situation and order
management of your distributors
- You frequently visit end customers, alone and together
with your distributors
- You build up valuable relationships to doctors and Key
Opinion Leaders
- You plan, organize and execute marketing events,
congresses, trainings together with your colleagues and distributors
- You collect important market data about competitors,
product developments, pricing, strategies
- Your place of employment is Taicang, Jiangsu but you
will work remotely in South China
- The job requires a high travel intensity in your
assigned sales area
- Regular business trips within China (mainly to Taicang)
- Annual business trip to Germany
Reporting
line:
- You will report to the Regional Manager Greater China
(Chinese)
- You will communicate weekly with the Management in
China and the Headquarters (Western)
- You cooperate closely with your colleagues from
Business Development and Product Application
- You communicate regularly with your colleagues from
other specialized departments
like order processing, logistics, marketing, regulatory affairs, service
Education:
- You hold a university degree in business
administration, natural sciences or a medical related field
Working
experience:
- You already worked 3-5 years in selling and promoting
medical devices
- You understand the medical device market in China
- You know the medical tender business and the
decision-making process at the hospital
- You are familiar with the local reimbursement
system
- You ideally have experience with medical
devices used in urology, surgery, gynecology
- Your possible experience in endoscopy is the cherry on
top but not a must
Knowledge
& Skills:
- You represent an ideal mix of sales experience and
technical understanding
- You offer a proven track record in technically complex
and explanation demanding sales
- You have knowledge of relevant national and also
international medical device regulations and standards
- You bring a good network of customers and partners in
Medtech
- You have relevant knowledge about local and
international competitors
- You can set priorities and can work independently and
self-determined
- You are also a team-player which enjoys the cooperation
with your peers
- You are confident, communicative and open
Mindset:
- You enjoy thinking out of the box
- You have already worked for an international
company
- You are used to work and to communicate with people who
have a "Western mindset"
Language:
- Mandarin is your native language
- You fluently communicate and write in English
- Cantonese or German is nice to have but absolutely no
must
