KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
For our client we are looking for an experienced and passionate Sales Director to drive our client sales growth in China, bridging communication and strategy between their German headquarters and the Chinese market. Our client is looking for a settled personality with extended cross-cultural understanding, value-driven team leadership, emotional stability in tough situations and a strategic mindset to elevate both sales results and team capabilities.
These are key responsibilities:
~Serve as the primary liaison between expert teams in Germany and China, ensuring effective communication and trustful collaboration;
~Identify key stakeholders within target accounts (purchasing department/decision makers) and build strong, long-lasting and value-based relationships;
~Be a role model for and inspire and coach the sales team, actively developing their skills in negotiation, value-based selling, and understanding customer needs;
~Lead by example by cultivating a collaborative, accountable team culture;
~Show that you are part of the team – for real;
~Actively support and work alongside the team to achieve business goals, with a shared commitment to progress and collective success;
~Create a robust business model to drive sustainable growth, while capturing valuable insights into customer needs, market trends, and new opportunities;
~Help our client to understand and anticipate customer pain points and emerging needs;
~Identify and address gaps in the team’s sales skills, product knowledge, and technical expertise to strengthen the overall capabilities of the organization;
~Build a positive, motivating work environment where team members can grow and improve together;

OUR CLIENTS REQUIEREMENTS
~At least 10 years of sales experience and 5 years in a leading role;
~Be passionate about continuous sales growth;
~Proven experience in a sales leadership role, with a record of driving growth and profitability in a cross-cultural setting;
~A value-driven individual who aligns with the company’s ethical and collaborative culture;
~Proven ability to lead without ego, fostering an environment of mutual respect and shared success;
~Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach a high-performance sales team;
~Develop and execute a sales strategy prioritizing value selling;
~A mindset focused on team achievements and client satisfaction, rather than personal financial gain;
~Strong interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and approachable personality;
~Bilingual in Mandarin and English, with strong interpersonal and cultural skills to communicate effectively across both European and Asian markets.
