This engineer will assist in critical activities including configuration, troubleshooting, management/monitoring of Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), WLC, ISE, Switches etc.
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain network hardware including Cisco ISE, WLC, Access points, DNAC (Catalyst Center), routers, switches etc
- Provide L2/L3 level support for troubleshooting complex network related issues for wired and wireless users.
- Participate in P1/P2 calls and take lead to provide resolution
- Work closely and effectively with customers, partners, vendors, and fellow team members to provide exceptional customer service.
- Work with TAC as and when required.
- Analyse complex issues to determine client impact and suggest alternative solutions based on client needs and objectives.
- Work on incidents reported by monitoring tools and users and update them on timely basis
- Work in 24X7 rotational shifts
Qualifications Required:
- Strong Knowledge in Network administration processes and concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or specialized certifications in DNA and ISE
- 5 to 12 years in a technology role
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Proven experience in diagnostics and problem analysis
- Technology Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), Cisco ISE, WLAN, Routing and Switching
Desired:
- Strong understanding of network technologies in two or more of the below domains - Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center), Cisco ISE, WLAN Operations, routing, switching.
- Hands on experience in managing and deploying SDA (wired and wireless infrastructure) using Cisco DNAC (Catalyst center).
- Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols including all standards of 802:11a/b/g/N/A.c and supporting protocols including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TCP/IP, UDP etc
- Proven experience in configuration and troubleshooting network issues related to wireless solutions including Cisco wireless, access points, controllers, etc
- Have knowledge and experience in Cisco ISE and 802.1x wireless security protocols (EAP-TLS, EAP, PEAP, etc) and understanding of Guest portal
- Understanding of tools such as Wireshark to capture and analyse packets
- Deep understanding of commonly used network protocols and technologies including but not limited to 802.1X, NAC, VXLAN, etc
- Routing and Switching skills.
