Scope of Job:
- Implementation for resort park central platform product configuration and make sure the successful of product launch & internal face from hotel, admission, retail and F&B system.
- Be the key contact window for product approval process, collaboration internally to convert product from concept to guest facing view.
- Execute pricing and inventory management actions for hotel to drive revenue performance.
- Integrates analysis into the daily revenue management process to optimize pricing & product plans that harnesses the placement of marketing efforts throughout the year and drives positive financial results for the business.
- Effectively communicates strategy and pricing to all key attraction stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
1. Strategy – Main focus on Hotel and back up for Ticket
- Be a critical input on yield and channel mix budget for future performance & development on LEGOLAND SHANGHAI RESORT .
- Develop strategy for seasonal pricing by products, including determining what periods are peak / off-peak across the year, including cluster ticket pricing strategy.
- Support Revenue Management Manager to oversee strategy of local promotional planning and pricing to create more incremental demand and reduce dilution of the base business. To pro-actively include tactical promotions when forward bookings are low.
- Support Revenue Management Manager to oversee pricing strategy of all other commercial revenue (including Events) and non- admissions revenue streams. Partner with Commercial Teams to design effective pricing and promotional campaigns and clearly communicate goals and strategies to ensure alignment across broader commercial organization.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing team to develop and implement a clear vision for how the division can become a more guest-obsessed, revenue and yield driven powerhouse.
- Develop best practice approach at a divisional level for Hierarchy of sales. Streamline selling processes that focus and incentivize the sale of the most profitable tickets first across all channels.
2. Analysis and Reporting - Main focus on Hotel and back up for Ticket
- Constantly analyze current performance data by product & channel - identify new revenue opportunities or optimizations.
- Track, analyze and report on the performance of all revenue generating activities, to include weekly trade meeting and monthly Business Reviews
- Support weekly, monthly, and yearly processes to set overall pricing plans, base prices, and yield plans. Using historical trends and professional judgement identify potential impact of pricing changes on volume and revenue.
- Support daily process to analytically consider future demand and adjust prices accordingly to maximize revenue.
- Facilitate reporting tools to support the SLT identifying clear revenue targets for employees and gain buy-in with clear incentives/ commissions.
- Forecast revenue performance - identify upsides & risks.
- Initiates, implements, and evaluates revenue trials across LEGOLAND SHANGHAI RESORT businesses.
- Provide reporting & analysis in a timely manner for recurring & ad hoc strategy priorities.
- Consistently analyze effectiveness of current revenue management & business strategies - suggest changes where necessary.
- To investigate and provide strategic insights in respect of under-performing commercial areas not only regarding their financial performance but also in the context of understanding wider business issues.
- Continually review existing reporting and analytics to ensure metrics are meaningful, relevant, efficient, and instill executive-level confidence in the revenue management process.
3. Implementation - Main focus on Hotel and back up for Ticket
- Implementation for resort park central platform product configuration and make sure the successful of product launch & internal face from hotel, admission, retail and F&B system.
- Be the key contact window for product approval process, collaboration internally to convert product from concept to guest facing view.
- Support the execution and reporting of pricing trials from conception to finish; from the brief of target volume/audience and any measurement of success to the identification of target audience, duration or trial and the inclusion or any marketing / operation executions and costs. To include oversight of operational and set up, roll out and subsequent reporting of trial findings and recommendations; ensure consistent refreshes in line with current market dynamics / insight.
4. Communication
- Ensure that revenue strategy changes in line with changing market conditions or business priorities are communicated effectively.
- Develop effective relationships and act as point of contact between the commercial teams with Revenue management manager and senior managers in Promotions, Trade & Digital teams to further leverage partnerships to enhance revenue performance.
- Pro-actively coordinate and present regular updates on competitor product offering and pricing changes with recommendations of any relevant anti-competitor plans.
- Coordinate and present regular updates on LEGOLAND SHANGHAI RESORT product offering, identifying 'best in class’s or successful pricing policies with recommendations of any relevant changes for China LLP.
5. Execution of Strategy
- Support to be the link between strategic objectives & effective system delivery.
- Work with Division SLT, Marketing & Sales Managers, and Revenue teams to ensure that revenue management initiatives are implemented appropriately and processes to deliver are as efficient as possible.
- Support processes associated with demand, revenue, inventory, revenue forecasting and opportunity analysis.
- Implement processes to review and authorize all price change for LOGOLAND SHANGHAI RESORT park and hotel.
- Support the consistency and comparability in the treatment and presentation of all pricing data across China LLP and hotels.
- Support the consistency reviews and simplification of current product offerings, ensuring consistent nomenclature across attractions and sales channels.
- Implement the price points of current product offerings by products and channels.
- Support the development of revenue protection measures including the development of refunds policy terms.
- Communication of price changes to all relevant parties
- Accurately set up and implement all requested changes and reflected across LEGOLAND SHANGHAI RESORT and all channels.
- Work with Finance and IT to develop tools to automate pricing decisions, refine quantitative models to predict future demand, develop and production of reports that track the impact of pricing changes, develop price elasticity models.
- Work with Digital team to ensure online pricing optimizes revenue.
Health & Safety

- Prior experience in revenue management or strategic consulting a must.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills; extremely comfortable compiling and manipulating data.
- Technically savvy with computer proficiency with ability to use Microsoft Office products required.

- Entrepreneurial with a successful track record of developing and implementing innovative pricing and commercial strategies.
- An impressive record of achievement within an organization where revenue management is an advanced and integral part of the business.
- A deep knowledge and understanding of how a P&L operates and the wider impact pricing strategy has on business finance operations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics
- Minimum 6+ years of working experience of international attraction / cruise / accommodations revenue management experience,
preferably managing 250+ rooms
- PMS and ticketing system navigation experience preferred. Training will be provided, so applicants are not required to have experience with the PMS / Ticketing system, but must demonstrate ability to learn systems quickly.
- Language: demand to have fluent verbal and written English (Merlin, LEGO)
