About Role
We are seeking a Communications Officer to assist the Communications Manager with event coordination, social media content creation. The role also involves close collaboration with the team to complete tasks, as well as handling other assignments as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Work with the Comms Manager on academic departmental activities and school branded events, including event coordination and collateral production.
? Create engaging short videos for social media platforms, primarily the WeChat video channel
? Support the Comms Manager in story generation to promote the school's unique advantages to highlight brand values, e.g., student development opportunities, academic excellence, group resources, teachers’ stories, activities and events etc.
? Edit and design WeChat posts on a weekly basis
? Support or work with the vendors regarding the design and production of various branding and marketing materials, as well as school environmental displays
? Manage branding resources and content assets.
? Other tasks as assigned by the Comms Manager

Requirement
? Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area
? Master’s degree an advantage
? Media/Creativity/Marketing/Arts and related education background
? Experience with video filming and editing; a portfolio or samples of work would be advantageous
? Familiarity with graphic editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Canva etc.) would be a plus
? Experience with event management
? Fluent written and speaking skills in English
